With the release of update 1.5 for Infinity Nikki, players can now gather Ethereal Stars within the Sea of Stars to craft the iconic miracle outfit sharing its name. To unlock the nodes in the Heart of Infinity skill tree for this outfit, you’ll need a minimum of 22 Ethereal Stars. But how can you actually obtain them?
It’s important to mention that the current version of Infinity Nikki 1.5 is quite buggy. I find myself puzzled by some of the methods for acquiring Ethereal Stars, unsure if it’s a glitch or intended gameplay mechanics. Judging by the feedback from the Infinity Nikki community, many players share this confusion.
In the following guide, we will discuss how to collect Ethereal Stars in Infinity Nikki (or at least how we believe you are meant to).
How to Collect Ethereal Stars in Infinity Nikki
Since you can only gather a limited number of Ethereal Stars each day, make sure to complete these daily tasks to enhance your Heart of Infinity.
There are two ways to obtain these stars:
The latter method is expected to reset daily (you can identify this by the dome surrounding them), as per the in-game tutorial. However, as of this morning (April 29), the reset function for the bell has not been operational. It did function correctly the previous evening at the game’s launch, so it may be that the bell has a different reset schedule than the standard daily reset time. Other players have also reported that they are experiencing issues with the bell.
Nonetheless, I plan to clarify these details further once the situation stabilizes and the bugs are addressed. InFold Games has acknowledged that version 1.5 has its issues, but their statement doesn’t specifically touch on these problems (or some of the other bugs encountered in the Sea of Stars).
We’ve contacted InFold Games for additional information to determine whether these issues are indeed bugs or intentional design choices, and will update this guide once we receive a response.
