Effortless Connectivity: Matter's Update...

Matter is an open-source, IP-based connectivity standard for smart home devices, developed by companies like Apple, Amazon, Google, and Samsung, among others. It operates over Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and the low-power mesh networking protocol known as Thread. This standard currently accommodates a wide range of device types in households, including lighting, thermostats, smart locks, robot vacuums, refrigerators, dishwashers, dryers, ovens, smoke detectors, air quality monitors, electric vehicle chargers, and more.

Devices featuring the Matter logo can be easily set up and integrated into any Matter-compatible ecosystem through a Matter controller. Additionally, they can be managed by various systems simultaneously thanks to a feature called multi-admin.

Major smart home platforms like Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, and Apple Home support Matter, along with a wide range of device manufacturers.
