If you’re considering enhancing your remote work setup, both the Insta360 Link and Link 2 are innovative 4K webcams equipped with gimbals to elevate your video call presentations. As of now, through June 8th, they are available at their lowest prices ever, with the original Link priced at $149.99 (regularly $179.99) at Amazon, B&H Photo, and the Insta360 website. Meanwhile, the Link 2 is discounted to $169.99 (a $30 savings) at Best Buy, B&H Photo, and Amazon, thanks to an active coupon.
Both of these 4K/30fps webcams feature a 0.5-inch Sony sensor mounted on a motorized, three-axis gimbal. This design allows you to stay centered in the frame while moving about the room and provides the ability to capture content from various angles using innovative software features. For instance, their AI-powered framing tool can seamlessly zoom in on your head, upper body, or full body based on your distance from the webcam. The cameras can also tilt slightly downward using the DeskView mode to showcase your desk or pitch straight down for overhead viewing. The whiteboard mode employs special stickers to recognize and lock onto a whiteboard, making it an excellent tool for presentations.
While all Link webcams come with these impressive features, the more compact Link 2 introduces several new enhancements, including a magnetic mount, expanded hand gesture controls, and group tracking capabilities, which enable it to frame multiple presenters simultaneously (in contrast, the first-generation Link focuses on just one person at a time). Additionally, users can now set up no-follow zones, preventing the camera from tracking movement in specific areas.
