Reviving Your Allies: A Guide for Elden Ring...

As you embark on your first journey in Elden Ring Nightreign, brace yourself for the possibility of death — not just your own, but also that of your allies. Fortunately, death doesn’t spell the end. In Nightreign, you have the ability to bring your teammates back to life.

However, the process of reviving teammates in Nightreign is… well, unconventional. Below, we outline how to revive teammates in Elden Ring Nightreign, along with some tips to help you maximize this mechanic.

How to revive teammates in Elden Ring Nightreign

When a character suffers a fatal blow in Elden Ring Nightreign, they enter a near-death state, as indicated by a segmented countdown gauge on the HUD. This gauge lasts for approximately 45 seconds, but you can halt its progression by inflicting damage on your incapacitated teammate. Be cautious, though: if you wait too long between attacks, the gauge will start to deplete again.

During this near-death state, your downed teammate can be revived with melee or ranged attacks from others for a limited time. As they take damage, a radial wheel above them will gradually deplete. Once it empties, they will return with about 40% of their health.

If the countdown timer expires, the downed character will respawn at the last Site of Grace or the closest safe area. Should all players be downed during a Nightlord encounter, the expedition concludes, and you will be returned to the Roundtable Hold.

Tips for reviving teammates in Elden Ring Nightreign

The necessity to inflict damage on your allies to revive them may seem unusual in a multiplayer game. The difficulty of delivering damage with your chosen weapon directly affects your ability to restore your teammates. Here are some tips to help you efficiently extend your expeditions and revive your party members.
