During its live Tudum event, Netflix revealed that the fifth season of Stranger Things will be divided into three parts. Volume 1 is scheduled to premiere on November 26th, followed by Volume 2 on December 25th, and The Finale on New Year’s Eve. In addition to the release dates, Netflix unveiled a teaser that hints at the challenges Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Will (Noah Schnapp), and Max (Sadie Sink) will face upon the show’s return.
Originally, Netflix indicated that the final chapter of Stranger Things would be released in two parts instead of three. However, this updated plan appears to be a strategy to keep viewers engaged over a longer period, rather than binge-watching the entire series in one go. While this marks the conclusion of the main Stranger Things storyline, Netflix is still developing both live-action and animated spin-offs. Although specific details regarding these spinoffs have yet to be disclosed, it’s likely that updates will be forthcoming soon.
