Season 2 of Solo Leveling has just concluded, making it an ideal moment to revisit the series’ beginnings. On Tuesday, Crunchyroll announced that season 1 of Solo Leveling will receive a special Blu-ray release. This release includes a standard edition and a stunning limited edition.
Crunchyroll has stated that both the standard and limited edition Blu-rays for season 1 will feature all 12 episodes, along with various bonus materials. These extras include textless versions of the opening and closing songs, character-specific videos, a special episode 7.5 recap, and a documentary titled The Leveling of Solo Leveling that delves into the creation of the original webcomic.
The limited edition Blu-ray is particularly noteworthy, as it comes with a 68-page art book showcasing selected stills from the series, interviews with the cast and crew, including action director Yoshihiro Kanno, as well as art cards and a sticker sheet.
Both the standard and limited editions of Solo Leveling will be available on Blu-ray and DVD starting July 22 through Crunchyroll. With season 2 having wrapped up in March, the series is expected to return with season 3 early next year, following the previous release schedule.
