Solo Leveling’s second season has just concluded, making it an ideal moment to reflect on the anime’s origins. On Tuesday, Crunchyroll revealed plans to release a special Blu-ray edition of Solo Leveling’s first season. This release will be available in both a standard edition and a stunning limited edition.
Crunchyroll has confirmed that both the standard and limited edition Blu-rays will feature all 12 episodes of the first season, as well as a variety of bonus content. This includes textless versions of the opening and closing songs, character-focused videos, a recap episode (Episode 7.5), and a documentary titled The Leveling of Solo Leveling that delves into the creation of the original webcomic.
The limited edition Blu-ray set will also come with an exclusive 68-page art book, showcasing selected stills from the series and featuring interviews with the cast, crew, and action director Yoshihiro Kanno. Additionally, the limited edition includes art cards and a sticker sheet.
Both versions of the Solo Leveling Blu-ray and DVD are set for release on July 22 through Crunchyroll. With Solo Leveling season 2 wrapping up in March, and following the past release schedule, fans can anticipate the arrival of season 3 in early next year.
