Skullcandy Collaborates with Bose for Affordable $99 ANC Earbuds

Certainly! Here’s a rewritten version:

Skullcandy has recently gained popularity for offering budget-friendly earbuds that don’t compromise on sound quality. Their latest release, the Method 360 ANC earbuds, debuts at a special introductory price of $99.99, which will later increase to $129.99. These are among the brand’s higher-end products. Skullcandy has collaborated with Bose to ensure these earbuds are the most comfortable and highest-performing audio devices they’ve produced.

Much like the Motorola Moto Buds Plus that were introduced last year, the Method 360 ANC utilizes Bose’s licensed technology and audio tuning. This collaboration is aimed at delivering “Skullcandy’s most advanced audio experience to date,” according to the company. To secure a snug and noise-blocking fit, the earbuds come with three sizes of ear gels and fit fins.

While you shouldn’t expect the same audio and ANC capabilities as Bose’s QuietComfort Ultra earbuds, choosing Skullcandy’s latest option could save you nearly $200.

Unlike most wireless earbuds that come with a clamshell-style charging case, the Method 360 ANC features a sliding design similar to Skullcandy’s Dime Evo earbuds. The case includes an O-ring clip, resembling a carabiner, for convenience. This case extends the earbuds’ battery life from 11 hours to 40 hours or from nine hours to 32 hours with ANC active.

Available in black, bone, primer, plasma, and leopard color variants, the Method 360 ANC boasts a four-microphone hybrid ANC system. It also includes a Stay-Aware mode that amplifies ambient sounds and offers a low latency mode for synchronized audio during gaming or video playback.

The earbuds automatically connect to your device and pause playback when removed, thanks to wear detection technology. Multipoint pairing allows seamless switching between devices. Additionally, the Method 360 ANC has an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance, supports Spotify Tap and Google Fast Pair, and connects to the Skull-iQ mobile app. This app enables customization of the earbuds’ shortcut buttons and allows for EQ adjustments.
