In Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, we witnessed Rey embracing her darker side during an intense showdown with herself among the ruins of the Death Star. It’s reasonable to expect she may have a similar look in the upcoming content (perhaps without the teeth, though).
If you’re hoping for the appearance of her unique switchblade-style double saber in the bundle (priced at 2,000 V-Bucks), you might be disappointed. Instead, it looks like she will have a pickaxe inspired by Ochi’s Blade. This mystical knife famously broke just right to lead her to the Death Star remnants and point her toward the Sith Wayfinder… or something like that. (Let’s face it, that movie had its share of issues, didn’t it?)
This isn’t the first Sith-themed skin introduced in this season of Fortnite. Not too long ago, we saw the arrival of Darth Jar Jar, a skin that hinted at the possibility that the quirky Gungan was secretly orchestrating Emperor Palpatine’s rise from the very beginning of the saga. While it’s not officially recognized as canon, it’s certainly an entertaining theory to ponder!
The Star Wars season in Fortnite wraps up on June 7, so if you’re eager to unlock Disco Emperor Palpatine, now’s your chance!
