After waiting for more than six months since Patch 7, Larian Studios has finally released its eighth and final patch for Baldur’s Gate 3. This update brings highly anticipated features such as cross-play, a photo mode, and split-screen play for the Xbox Series S. To celebrate the release, Larian unveiled another of their animated shorts starring the BG3 cast, complete with a special metatextual cameo and a twist ending.
However, what really excites my diehard BG3 friends is the introduction of 12 new subclasses — one for each playable Dungeons & Dragons class in the game. These new subclasses offer fresh opportunities for exploring new synergies and replaying the entire 70-plus-hour adventure.
