Once you’ve been bitten by a vampire, you may contract the disease Porphyric Hemophilia, which causes fatigue drain and can ultimately transform you into a vampire. If you manage to cure the disease within three days (72 hours of game time), you can halt the transformation. Otherwise, you’ll turn into a vampire the next time you rest.
While being a vampire offers various benefits — including resistances, skills, attributes, and unique abilities — you’ll be unable to venture outside during daylight hours.
