Dragon Quest: Rebirth of a Classic Adventure...

Tekken 8 is facing backlash from its community, and the recent gameplay trailer for Fahkumram hasn’t helped the situation.

On May 26, Bandai Namco unveiled the trailer, showcasing Fahkumram’s move set, reasons for his conflicts, and some design tweaks. This returning character is set to hit the game as paid DLC on July 8 for early access, with a general release on July 11, as part of Tekken 8‘s Version 2.03 update.

Furthermore, the trailer teased the return of Armor King, another beloved character. While no specific release date was given for him, he is expected to launch this fall.

However, neither reveal has completely satisfied a community already on edge. Reactions to Armor King’s return were mixed; some fans were thrilled to see King’s rival make a comeback, while others were less than impressed with his inclusion.

“Honestly, I had low hopes that he would come back. But I’m really glad he’s returning now,” a player shared on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“THE GREATAST MOTHERFUCKIN CHARACTER IN TEKKEN HISTORY IS BACK!” shouted an enthusiastic fan, albeit with a misspelling borne of excitement.

“LMAO, what’s funny is they had to reveal this character because they’re trying to win back players after [messing] up the start of this season and showing Fahkumram, a DLC character from the previous title that nobody liked,” another commenter joked.

Players’ negative sentiments towards Fahkumram remain unchanged; regardless of gameplay, many continue to express their dissatisfaction. Comments poured in, describing the reveal as “the most boring DLC trailer” and asserting they would “never like him.”
