Enjoy Free Screensharing on Android with Gemini Live!

Gemini Live now offers a feature that allows it to view and interact with the content on your camera and screen, and Google has announced that this will be available for free to all Android users through the Gemini app.

This AI-powered feature was initially launched earlier this month for users with a Pixel 9 or Samsung Galaxy S25 via the Gemini app. Originally, Google mentioned that the feature would soon be accessible to all Android users, but only with a Gemini Advanced subscription. However, the company has reconsidered and decided to make it freely available.

“We’ve received positive feedback about Gemini Live’s camera and screen sharing capabilities, so we decided to expand its accessibility,” Google announced on X.

The feature will begin rolling out to all Android users with the Gemini app starting today, with a complete rollout expected over the coming weeks. To see how it works, check out this video from Google, where a user holds their phone up at an aquarium, allowing Gemini to recognize the animals and provide information.
