Exciting New Star Wars Lego Sets to Launch on May 1

Lego has recently revealed nine new Star Wars sets in celebration of the upcoming Star Wars Celebration on April 19. Among these is the grandest version of Jango Fett’s Firespray-class Starfighter. While some sets, such as the new BrickHeadz and the latest iteration of the U-Wing, will be available for pre-order starting May 1, several others are already open for reservation. Below, you can find details about all the new sets and how to secure yours.

The standout in this collection is the updated model of Jango Fett’s Firespray-class Starfighter, featured in Episode 2. Although Boba Fett’s modified version of this ship has seen several releases, this marks the first appearance of the original design since 2002 in a Lego model. This impressive set, consisting of 2,970 pieces, includes Minifigs of Jango and Boba Fett, and will be available for pre-order at $299.99 from Lego starting May 4.

Chopper, or CH-10P, the irritable Astromech from Star Wars Rebels and Ahsoka, now has a dedicated 1,039-piece Lego set. Much like the 25th-anniversary R2-D2 replica, this Chopper model has poseable arms, concealed tools, and a rotating head. It’s priced at $99.99 and is currently available for pre-order from Lego.

There’s also a smaller edition of Kylo Ren’s Shuttle, comprising 386 pieces. Though it doesn’t include Minifigs, it comes with a nameplate detailing Kylo Ren’s personal Upsilon-class shuttle. This set is available for pre-order at $69.99.

Among the new additions is a tribute set to the iconic Star Wars logo and designer Suzy Rice. This $59.99 set, containing 700 pieces, assembles into a freestanding Star Wars logo measuring 5 inches high and about a foot long. You can pre-order this set from Lego now.

Lego has also introduced two new helmet busts into their collection from the Star Wars series. The 616-piece Jango Fett helmet and the 529-piece Kylo Ren helmet can both be pre-ordered from Lego for $69.99 each.

The U-Wing, a support ship featured in Rogue One, is also receiving a new 594-piece set. Priced at $69.99, this version is slightly smaller than its 2019 predecessor yet retains many intricate details, such as firing blasters and adjustable S-Foils. It includes Minifigs of two ISB officers, as well as a new Cassian Andor and K-2SO Minifig. This set will be available for pre-order from Lego starting May 1.

Lego also revealed two new BrickHeadz sets. One is a $9.99 model of Luke Skywalker in his X-Wing flight suit, and the other is a $49.99 collection representing characters from Revenge of the Sith. This bundle includes figures of Mace Windu, Emperor Palpatine, General Grievous, Padmé Amidala, and Anakin Skywalker.
