Fahkumram's Gameplay and Armor King Unveiled:...

Tekken 8 is facing backlash from its community, and the new gameplay trailer featuring Fahkumram hasn’t helped the situation.

Released on May 26 by Bandai Namco, the trailer showcased Fahkumram’s movement abilities, fighting motivations, and minor design tweaks. The character will be available as paid DLC on July 8 for early access and July 11 for general access, during Tekken 8’s Version 2.03 update.

Additionally, the trailer teased the return of Armor King, a fan-favorite character. However, a specific release date hasn’t yet been announced, although he is expected to debut in the fall.

Unfortunately, neither announcement fully appeased a frustrated Tekken community. Armor King received mixed reactions, with some players thrilled about his return, while others were less enthusiastic about his inclusion.

“Honestly, I didn’t expect him to return. I’m just really happy he is now,” one user shared on X (formerly Twitter).

“THE GREATEST CHARACTER IN TEKKEN HISTORY IS BACK!” exclaimed one exuberant fan, excitedly misspelling “greatest.”

“LMAO, isn’t it funny?” another user joked. “They had to reveal this character because they’re scrambling to bring back players after [messing] up the start of the season and introducing Fahkumram, a DLC character from the previous game that nobody liked.”

As for Fahkumram, community sentiment remains unchanged; players expressed their dissatisfaction, labeling the reveal as “the most boring DLC trailer” and declaring they would “never like him.”
