The first thing that caught my attention about the Fujifilm X Half is its compact and lightweight design. This camera is crafted to eliminate any excuses for leaving it behind — it’s meant to be your constant companion. After strolling around LA for a few hours with it, I can see the appeal.
On paper, Fujifilm’s latest model might not seem impressive. Priced at $850, the X Half features a vertically aligned 1-inch sensor that can capture 18MP images. It lacks an electronic or hybrid viewfinder, stabilization, a hot shoe, and even the capability to shoot RAW photos. It’s easy to glance at this list of absent features and dismiss the camera outright.
