Update, April 24th: After a challenging launch, GameStop has sold out of its initial preorder stock for the Switch 2.
The standalone Switch 2 includes a set of Joy-Con 2 controllers that magnetically connect to the console. These controllers feature Nintendo’s new “C” button, which serves as a shortcut to the new in-game chat feature called GameChat. The package also comes with a redesigned dock, a standard Joy-Con grip, wrist straps, an AC adapter, a USB-C charging cable, and an HDMI cable.
If you’re interested in the standalone console, it is now available for preorder at GameStop. You can also reserve a unit in-person at your local GameStop when they reopen (while supplies last).
