Introducing: ChatGPT's New AI Image Creation Section!

As of the Episode: Revenant update in October 2024, Bungie now indicates the featured activity with an icon on the map, and you’re able to experience two featured raids and dungeons weekly. However, Destiny 2 still does not provide in-game information about the future schedule of raids and dungeons.

In this Destiny 2 rotation guide, we’ll explain the importance of featured raids and dungeons and offer a calendar detailing the currently featured endgame activity this week. These activities rotate every Tuesday during the weekly reset for Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 Raid Rotation This Week

Each week, two raids are highlighted and rotate in a staggered order. The latest raid, Salvation’s Edge, is not yet part of the rotation and won’t be featured until a new raid is introduced.

A set pattern for the raid rotation exists during Heresy. We’ve mapped out the rotation schedule through July 15, which aligns with the in-game conclusion of Heresy, though Bungie hasn’t officially confirmed this date and has removed most references to it in the game menus. Note that this pattern can change if Bungie manually updates the lineup.

Destiny 2 Dungeon Rotation This Week

Similarly, two dungeons are featured weekly, following a recurring order. The newest dungeon, Sundered Doctrine, is not yet part of the rotation and will remain unfeatured until a new dungeon is released.

In the case of Heresy, a definitive pattern for the dungeon rotation hasn’t been established yet. We continue to list past featured dungeons for historical reference.

What Does It Mean for a Raid and Dungeon to Be Featured?

Destiny 2 offers various activities that rotate weekly, with the most significant being the endgame challenges: raids and dungeons. Raids are challenging six-player activities and are considered the toughest content available. Dungeons, on the other hand, are scaled-down versions of raids, needing only three Guardians and potentially doable solo with enough experience.

When a raid or dungeon is featured, you’ll earn a Pinnacle Power reward upon completion, and you’re able to repeat the encounters for additional loot. This means that when, for instance, the Last Wish raid is featured, you can repeatedly engage in each encounter to earn a desired weapon pattern. This is notably different from standard raids, where loot is typically awarded just once per week.

Each Tuesday, featured raids and dungeons rotate, with new ones taking their place. It’s important to note that the most recent raid and dungeon cannot be featured, although they do offer pinnacle gear every week regardless.
