Mastering Solo Adventures in Elden Ring:...

Elden Ring Nightreign is centered around daring roguelike adventures with a team of Nightfarers, aiming to defeat formidable Nightlords. Although you can experience Nightreign solo, FromSoftware has designed the game and its challenges primarily for a co-op team of three players. We strongly suggest enjoying it in multiplayer mode.

If you prefer to tackle Elden Ring Nightreign alone, whether online or offline, feel free to do so. Just be aware that Nightreign lacks summons, meaning it’s just you against whatever loot lies ahead.

In this guide, we will explain how to embark on single-player expeditions in Elden Ring Nightreign for those looking for an extra challenge.

Starting a Single-Player Expedition in Elden Ring Nightreign

Once you finish the initial tutorial and speak with the Priestess, you’ll gain nearly full access to the Roundtable Hold, the familiar hub from the original Elden Ring. The central table in the Roundtable Hold is where you can initiate your Expeditions.

To start a solo Expedition (note that multiplayer is the default setting), move towards the table in the Roundtable Hold and press the interact/action button (△ on PlayStation, Ⓨ on Xbox). From the Expedition screen, navigate to the Matchmaking Settings, scroll down to the Expedition Type, and select Single Player.

After that, choose your target and click on Commence Expedition. Initially, only the Tricephalos Expedition against Gladius, Beast of Night will be accessible. Defeat him to unlock seven additional Nightlords, which you can face in any sequence you prefer.
