Mastering Two-Handed Combat in Elden Ring: The...

In Elden Ring Nightreign, every damage you inflict on foes brings you closer to conquering a boss. Utilizing the classic yet effective two-handed technique is one way to enhance your combat performance.

While wielding a weapon with both hands may leave you feeling more exposed to enemy attacks—due to the inability to use a shield—it’s important to recognize that this perception greatly depends on your individual playstyle and class. However, wielding two-handed weapons requires a strategic approach. Similar to other FromSoftware titles, two-handed attacks consume more stamina. Be mindful of your stamina usage, or you might find yourself unable to evade incoming attacks after an extended offensive.

When utilizing a bow, using both hands grants you access to the “Precision Aiming” mode. To shoot arrows at enemies in this mode, hold L1 or LB and move the precision sight with the right stick. Once your target is in sight, press R1 or RB to release the arrow.

While Precision Aiming can be advantageous, it is often challenging to execute effectively during critical encounters. Unless a teammate
