Motorola's Next Razr Leverages Perplexity for Innovative Design

According to sources for Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Perplexity has come to an agreement with Motorola to offer its AI assistant as an option alongside Google’s Gemini. Motorola plans to implement a unique user interface for engaging with Perplexity, encouraging users to experience the assistant, and will highlight Perplexity in its marketing campaigns.

Additionally, Perplexity Assistant is reportedly set to become available on Samsung devices, though discussions are still in the preliminary stages, as per Bloomberg’s sources. While the specifics of these talks remain unclear, it is evident that Perplexity aims to establish a presence on Galaxy devices, either as the default assistant or at least as a preloading option for users. Currently, Samsung utilizes Gemini as its default AI assistant and Google as its primary search engine provider.

Correction, April 17th: An earlier version of this article incorrectly stated that Motorola would be announcing the Razr this week. The announcement is scheduled for next week.
