Pokémon Go’s latest event is a nod to the anime, appropriately titled “Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration.” This event spans from April 16-22 and includes various Pokémon featured in the anime, such as a Pikachu adorned with a captain’s hat and a Floragato sporting a unique hat.
The event brings several exciting bonuses: increased appearance of Team Go Rocket balloons, halved egg hatch distances for those placed in Incubators during this period, and a higher likelihood of encountering shiny variants of the special hat-wearing Pikachu and Floragato.
Tinkatink and its evolutionary line are making their first appearance during this event. However, players will need to hatch a significant number of eggs to collect enough to evolve one into a Tinkaton.
