The Reliquary introduces an evolved format for the battle pass in Diablo 4, launching with season 8. Unlike the previous system that featured a single progression track for the season, players can now select from various reward types and use in-game currency to unlock them.

How does the Reliquary work in Diablo 4?

The Reliquary divides the battle pass into multiple categories. Instead of needing to level up throughout the season to claim rewards, players can earn Favor by defeating demons and completing quests. This Favor can then be spent within the categories to secure the various items you desire.

Items vary in their cost. For instance, a basic weapon skin might require just 2 Favor, while a more ornate horse mount might cost 10. Completing an entire category will reward you with a single piece from this season’s deluxe armor set.

Each category of the Reliquary features eight to nine rewards, including deluxe armor pieces. To learn more about the specific categories and their respective costs for the current season, refer to the following section.

All Reliquary tiers in Diablo 4 season 8

The Reliquary for season 8 features four distinct categories, one of which is available for free:

Players can purchase a bundle from the store that grants access to all premium Reliquaries for 1,000 Platinum. Alternatively, acquiring all three individually would cost 1,500 Platinum, providing a 33% savings.

Unlocking every item within each Reliquary will reward you with a piece of the Belial-themed armor set, meaning you will need to purchase and complete all four categories to obtain the full set. Additionally, there is a deluxe battle pass bundle priced at 1,800 Platinum that includes several bonus items such as a premium set of wings and an exclusive owl pet. This deluxe bundle also grants immediate access to the exquisite Belial set, regardless of your Reliquary progress.
