Pokémon Legends: Z Unveils Release Date in...

Nintendo has announced that the highly anticipated Pokémon title for the Switch 2, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, is set to launch on October 16, 2025. The Pokémon Company International revealed on Wednesday that the game will be available on the Switch, with an option for players to upgrade to the Switch 2 version through a special pack. Digital pre-orders for Pokémon Legends: Z-A are scheduled to begin on June 5, coinciding with the official release of the Nintendo Switch 2.

In addition, the Pokémon Company has announced a new Pokémon Presents livestream set for July 22, 2025. This event promises to deliver the latest news and updates from the Pokémon universe.

While it hasn’t been confirmed whether the focus will solely be on Legends: Z-A, it’s reasonable to expect that with the game’s release just five months away, the Pokémon Presents will feature at least some insights about this exciting title.

In the meantime, trainers can satisfy their Pokemon cravings with new mega evolution merchandise available at Pokémon Centers in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom starting May 28. According to an official press release, the new collection includes large pins showcasing Mega Charizard X and Mega Charizard Y, along with a capsule collection featuring the formidable Mega Venusaur, Mega Gengar, Mega Lucario, and more.
