The "A Dazzling Aria" Masterwork Research in Pokémon Go provides a chance to obtain a shiny Meloetta. Available during Go Tour: Unova, players can purchase the $5 ticket from Monday, Feb. 24, at 10 a.m. to Sunday, March 2, at 8 p.m. local time.
Once obtained, the Masterwork Research appears in the Special Research tab, allowing players to complete tasks at their own pace due to the challenging nature of the tasks. - Catch 100 Pokémon from the Johto region (648 XP)
- Catch 135 Pokémon from the Hoenn region (648 XP)
- Catch 107 Pokémon from the Sinnoh region (648 XP)
- Catch 156 Pokémon from the Unova region (648 XP)

Step 2 of 7
- Catch 50 Normal-type Pokémon (15 Snivy candy)
- Catch 50 Psychic-type Pokémon (15 Tepig candy)

Step 3 of 7
- Earn the bronze Showcase Star medal (Basculin [red stripe] encounter)

Future Steps and Value of the Ticket
Due to the time-gated nature of the research, more information will be updated as it becomes available. Although not every item is available for purchase, the $5 ticket appears to provide good value with unique items and encounters that justify the cost.
Despite the lengthy and challenging requirements, frequent players might find the long-term goals appealing beyond the Go Tour: Unova event. However, players are advised to purchase the ticket within the available week to secure a chance to partake in the research.
