Razer Stealthily Resumes Select Laptop Sales

In what appeared to be a reaction to the ongoing tariff issues, the US Razer website discreetly removed its Blade laptops from direct sale, including the latest Blade 16 model featuring Nvidia’s 50-series GPUs. Meanwhile, operations continued as usual in other regions, like Canada. Despite a week of paused sales and discussions on Reddit regarding Blade 16 preorders delayed at US Customs, Razer did not respond to inquiries from The Verge regarding the situation.

Currently, some configurations of the 2025 Blade 16 are once again available for US customers, though not all Blade laptops have returned to Razer’s US online store.

Prior to the sales interruption, 2024 Blade 16 models and preorders for the Blade 18 were accessible, but these have since disappeared for US shoppers.

The 2025 Blade 16 is now available for immediate purchase with the RTX 5080 GPU, yet the entry-level RTX 5070 Ti and the high-end RTX 5090 versions are only available with "notify me" options.

Oddly, the 5090 configuration is restricted to 64GB of RAM and 4TB of storage, priced at $4,899.99, while Razer provided a review unit with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage for $4,499.99, which is not listed.

We have contacted Razer for clarification on these developments.
