PlayStation’s highly anticipated Days of Play event is set to kick off on Wednesday, May 28, bringing with it exciting discounts on the PlayStation 5, only a month after Sony Interactive Entertainment announced price hikes for the five-year-old console in certain markets.
From May 28 through June 11, Sony will offer price cuts on the PS5, DualSense controllers, and popular games such as Astro Bot, MLB The Show 25, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, and Lego Horizon Adventures in “select regions,” according to the company’s official press release. Gamers can find these offers on direct.playstation.com or at participating local retailers.
In the United States and Canada, the PlayStation 5 Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Bundle—available in both digital and standard versions—will be discounted, starting at $399.99 USD or $509.99 CAD. Additionally, PS5 Pro consoles will see a $50 reduction in the US.
In regions like Europe and Asia, both digital and standard PS5 models will also be discounted for the Days of Play event, starting at €399.99, £339.99, or ¥65,980.
As for PS5 accessories, players can look forward to special deals on various items.
Moreover, Sony will be providing discounts on PlayStation Plus memberships during the Days of Play event. New subscribers can save up to 33% on 12-month memberships, while current PlayStation Plus Essential or Extra members can enjoy a 33% discount on the remainder of their membership if they upgrade to PlayStation Plus Premium or Deluxe during this time.
In addition, deals on digital games and DLC will be available on the PlayStation Store for popular titles including A Plague Tale: Requiem, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ragnarök Edition, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Digital Deluxe Edition, Mortal Kombat 1, Octopath Traveler 2, Tekken 8 Season 2 Ultimate Edition, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, and more.
