The expansion, available for free to Outlaws Season Pass holders and priced at $14.99 for others, continues the narrative from the main storyline of the base game. In the trailer, Vess aids in the jailbreak of Hondo Ohnaka, a space pirate introduced in The Clone Wars animated series, and they join forces to take on a group known as the Rokana Raiders and their leader, Stinger Tash. Additionally, the DLC introduces the Miyuki Trade League, a new faction offering smuggling contracts that reward upgrades for Vess’s ship, the Trailblazer.
A Pirate’s Fortune also brings new cosmetic items inspired by Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, featuring a speeder trophy and a fresh outfit for Nix, the charming pet that accompanies the main character, Kay Vess, throughout the game. Furthermore, players with the Ultimate and Deluxe Editions of the game will receive the Naboo Nobility and Desert Nomad cosmetic packs.
This marks the second story expansion for Outlaws since the game launched last year. Ubisoft previously introduced the charismatic smuggler Lando Calrissian with its first DLC, Wild Card, in November.
