Nintendo has revised the pre-order date for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. Initially set for April 9, the date has been pushed to April 24 due to tariff-related delays.
The company confirmed on Friday that the console will maintain its initial pricing: $449.99, with a $499.99 bundle that includes Mario Kart World. The prices for both the physical and digital editions of Mario Kart World ($79.99) and Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99) will remain unchanged.
Nintendo stated, "Nintendo Switch 2 accessories will see price changes from those announced on April 2 due to shifts in market conditions. Future pricing adjustments for any Nintendo products may occur based on market dynamics."
The updated suggested retail prices for the Switch 2 and its accessories are now available on Nintendo’s website. The recent update reflects slight price increases for these accessories. For instance, the Joy-Con 2 controllers, which were originally $89.99, the Charging Grip at $34.99, the strap at $12.99, the wheel at $19.99, the camera at $49.99, and the dock set at $109.99, have all seen price hikes ranging from $5 to $10.
