This Week's Destiny 2 Raid and Dungeon Lineup Revealed

With the Episode: Revenant update released in October 2024, Bungie has introduced a map icon to highlight the featured activity each week, and now there are two featured raids and two featured dungeons weekly. However, Destiny 2 still does not inform you in-game about which raids and dungeons will be featured in the upcoming weeks.

This guide to the Destiny 2 rotation explains the significance of featured raids and dungeons, and provides a calendar of the endgame activity scheduled for the current week. These activities rotate on a weekly basis, updating every Tuesday at the Destiny 2 reset.

Destiny 2 Raid Rotation This Week

Each week features two raids, cycling in a staggered manner. The newest raid, Salvation’s Edge, is excluded from the current rotation and will only be featured once a new raid is introduced.

The rotation pattern for raids during the Heresy period has been established, and we have outlined the schedule up to July 15, marking the in-game conclusion of Heresy. Although Bungie has not officially confirmed this date, most references have been removed from in-game menus. Note that this schedule might change if Bungie decides to manually adjust any raids.

Destiny 2 Dungeon Rotation This Week

There are two featured dungeons each week, following a consistent rotation. The newest dungeon, Sundered Doctrine, is not yet included in this rotation and will remain so until a new dungeon is released.

Currently, there is no set pattern for dungeon rotations in Heresy. We are keeping records of the previously featured dungeons for reference.

Importance of Featured Raids and Dungeons

Destiny 2 offers various weekly rotating activities, with endgame content like raids and dungeons being the most impactful. Raids involve six-player teams tackling the hardest challenges in the game, while dungeons are smaller-scale activities requiring only three players and can be completed solo with practice.

When a raid or dungeon is featured, players earn a Pinnacle Power loot piece upon completion, and can repeatedly engage in encounters for additional loot opportunities. For instance, when the Last Wish raid is featured, players can attempt each encounter multiple times to craft a sought-after weapon pattern, unlike non-featured raids, which typically grant loot just once per week.

Featured raids and dungeons rotate weekly, with new selections appearing every Tuesday. It should be noted that while the newest raid and dungeon cannot be featured, they do offer pinnacle gear each week nonetheless.
