Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail introduces the major field operation known as the Occult Crescent, released in patch 7.25, offering plenty of content to engage with. While this operation is related to the Dawntrail relic weapon, completing the weapon is not mandatory to engage in this field operation. It provides an exciting way to spend your time in-game.

Unlocking the Occult Crescent in FFXIV

To access the Occult Crescent, you must have at least one combat job at level 100 and have completed the main story quest of the Dawntrail expansion (which is titled “Dawntrail”).

Once you meet these criteria, initiate the quest “One Last Hurrah” through the Expedition Messenger in Tuliyollal:
