When you consult the map, look for **a chest icon in the top left corner accompanied by numbers**; this shows how many different types of loot are found. Note that this counter does not include treasure locked behind puzzles, tough enemies, or the new Spirithiefs, who offer rewards through a minigame in Amphoreus.

Understanding Amphoreus Treasure Chests

Opening treasure chests grants you **Celestial Ambrosia**, which can be given to the Tides of the Basin located in the Vortex of Genesis. Offering these collectibles enhances the basin, yielding rewards such as Stellar Jade and items that upgrade the Trailblazer’s Remembrance Eidolon. This function is reminiscent of the Clock Credits and Clockie Statue interaction in Penacony’s treasure chests.

Amphoreus lacks Warp Trotters, trash cans, or collectibles seen on earlier planets. However, remain vigilant for **Spirithiefs**, who may snatch a chest before you do.
